The St Neots Players were originally formed in the late 1920s as a play-reading group.

The Players perform two full plays and a Christmas show every year and enter one-act plays into regional drama festivals as well as offering their services for staging murder mystery evenings. In recent years, they have won a number of awards, including the 2008 NODA Eastern Region District 1 Best Drama and Best Production awards for The Crucible.
There are so many aspects to any non professional theatre group, and people join from all walks
of life to get involved in acting, directing, costumes, props, as well as lighting, sound, set design/construction , stage management., publicity, front of house....the list goes on. |
